Our Strata Committee has called an EGM to vote on a proposal to appoint a Strata Manager. t is required that all lot owners sign the form, including the lot number. This means there is no confidentiality at all regarding this vote. Some of us are not happy about this as at a normal EGM we are marked off the list, as being financial, and given unmarked voting papers. There are 2 balconies in the block of 24 that have spalling and therefore broken tiles. Body Corp has arranged to have spalling repaired and were going to replace broken tiles. But the original tiles are unable to be matched due to the age, So OC they have to suggest another option is to cement, waterproof and paint the patches or maybe entire balcony with an appropriate product.
