Would this be on the strata company or owners to take care off for installation or fixing of cameras?

A: It will depend on the location of the surveillance cameras and your property’s by-laws. If they are part of an owners lot, that lot owner will generally be the one to take care of installation/fixes.

However, if these cameras are located on common property, it will generally be up to your strata committee to notify the strata company or building managers to rectify any issues.
