Last I saw was that Strata hadn’t enforced closures, but tonight I have come home and the area is closed. Is this right? – Kerry, NSW
Q: I’ve been keeping an eye out for notifications about my pool and spa area being affected due to COVID-19.
The last I saw was that the owners corporation hadn’t enforced closures, but tonight I have come home and the area is closed. While I don’t actually object, the people putting the sign up says it is due to the government’s orders. Is this right? If not, I’d rather they reword the notice if it’s just in the best interests of all.
A: That is correct, as of midday on 26 March, NSW Health restricted the use of pools and gyms. If you’re interested in more information, we’ve created a COVID-19 community living toolkit which may be a helpful resource to you and your committee: https://picagroup.com.au/covid-19-toolkit/
