A: In short, avoid the amount of personal and direct interaction. Here’s a few general guidance tips for meetings:
- Encourage committee members to communicate via virtual meetings using video conference, phone or other means
- For residents who are at risk, provide alternatives such as appointing a proxy, joining the meeting via telephone, or sending an email to your strata manager with matters they want raised
- If face-to-face interactions need to take place, with contractors, for example, implement precautionary measures. Maintain social distance, and provide a health notice in the meeting pack as well as display the notice at the meeting venue.
