Q: How long after an air conditioner is installed do you have to comply with painting fixtures of air conditioner on common walls?

 

A: If your by-laws state that air conditioning fixtures must be painted, they should also state the timeframe in which it must be completed.

If not, contact your body corporate committee for clarification. It may also be useful to possibly update the by-laws to include this information to avoid delays, and set clear expectations for future reference.
