Question: I live in ACT and I was wondering if you could help me or point me to the right direction. I live in an apartment and someone keeps parking on my spot. A notice has been posted on the car by the building admin and the owner ignores the notice.

I would not want to do anything drastic that I would soon regret, and would like to seek advise on how to handle the situation.

Answer: Hi Rommel,

If this is your car space it will be harder for management to be involved as it’s private property.

You may be able to install a bollard to prevent other residents from parking in your space. Before you do this however, check with your building manager to confirm that such installations are permitted at your building.
