My strata management charges each of our units an extra $2,000, on top of strata levies. It’s happened four times for repairs to the complex which should already come from our strata levy. This is ridiculous, and I’d like to know what to do as costs have added up to $8,000 – $9,000. – Medhi, NSW

You will need to check the contract with your strata manager to see what fees they are entitled to charge. If you are unsatisfied with the charges or think that they can be priced more fairly, it may be worth looking at switching strata company.
