If the By Laws state you can have 1 pet but you must keep it quiet, is it then okay for the unit below us to have two dogs (very loud) who bark when someone turns up? Sometimes 10pm. The place below has a courtyard that is very echoey, the sound travel straight into our unit. – Anita, QLD

Hi Anita, the first step is to write to the committee outlining the matter. The committee will be able to clarify if the below resident had requested the additional pet or they are indeed breaching the by-law. Once you have had a response from the committee you will be able to asses your next step.
