Our body corporate has a “no pet” policy, but a new owner wants to have 2 dogs. His application was turned down on a number of points, but he wants to go further. Is there anything we can do, as the majority of other owners bought here because there are no pets? – Sue, QLD

Hi Sue, as the body corporate have a prohibitive animal by-law it is up to the pet owner to explore their options. If the matter goes further the body corporate will be able to state their case, and the decsion will then be made by an adjudicator who has been allocated the case.
